

A Bit About Me
Christie J. Blackmon, MS, PMP, Prosci, is the Founder and CEO of CJB Group LLC where she had the vision to branch out on her own to directly solve the problems she has been solving over the course of her 20 plus years serving in the national security space with the U.S. federal government, as well as in the local political community supporting candidates campaigns and leading efforts with many civic organizations. She has a keen sense of identifying concerns and challenges impacting her clients, offering thoughtful solutions to address those challenges. She is a trusted advisor and an expert in communications strategies and organizational change management.
Christie is a former Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Intelligence Community and supported the national security space as a Strategic Communications consultant and Organizational Change Management practitioner with top consulting firms: Booz Allen Hamilton and Deloitte Consulting. Christie is very active in the community where she serves on various committees with the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., New Dominion Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), and is a former Executive Committee member of the Prince William Area Branch of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
Christie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts with a concentration in Public Relations from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a Master of Science degree in Organization Development and Knowledge Management (ODKM) from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She is a certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner.
